About Us

DNA Risk Sdn Bhd (938926-W), a risk management research house, was founded on July 4th, 2011 in Malaysia.

Now seniors in the industry, the business partners who founded the Company share their vision, extensive knowledge and know-how in the risk management and research field.

A great strength of the Company lies in the integrity of our team members. We work together very closely to achieve our goals in risk management to make ours a ‘cleaner’ marketplace.

Reluctant to sing our own praises, DNA Risk team members know we always need to go the extra mile.

Increasingly challenging is the complexity of the tasks at hands. Resting on our laurels means we will be outsmarted, outcompeted by many different types of rights infringements and frauds that are improving by the day due to the sheer amount of information online.

Surveillance of the Malaysian market all year round for our international clientele is no longer sufficient. Integration of ASEAN trading means we need to work alongside our regional partners in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Keen to introduce brand and rights protection awareness to Malaysian and ASEAN consumers, we collaborate with multilingual and multicultural partners to improve risk management standard in Malaysian and ASEAN region.

Who We Are

A short introduction to our team members and why their background should inspire potential clients’ confidence.

Ezza – Consultant

First joining the industry as a part-timer during her college days, Ezza had hands-on experiences to take up different tasks. Her experience in handling smaller tasks harnessed her skills and knowledge to handle bigger tasks as she worked up the ranks in the industry. Having spent years working as an investigator cum researcher for a company, she founded her own company with her business partners.

Now a professional risk manager, Ezza is the multitasker who juggles between several key roles at the Company. Among other her roles:

    • Monitoring the projects so that they are always on track
    • Coordinating the cases with clients and prosecutors
  •

Shazrul – Consultant

A consultant advising clients on the action plan of their projects, Shazrul plans carefully before the start of a client’s project and ensures proper management upon completion. As a strategic planner with areas of expertise, he proposes to clients on how they can better protect themselves after completing a project or an action plan.

An RMIT graduate from Australia and a former auditor at one of the Big Four, Shazrul monitors the Company’s projects carefully so as to make sure all work procedures are always abiding by the laws. Among other his roles:

    • Researching financial fraud and embezzlement cases
    • Researching unscrupulous and unethical business dealings

Team Members – The unsung heroes

DNA RISK is proud to have a number of competent members from diverse multicultural backgrounds. Members include former professionals who served in Royal Malaysian Police and Malaysian Armed Forces, as well as other professionals from all walks of life.

These multicultural professionals with wide-ranging skills are adept at handling the projects in Malaysia, as well as coordinating with co-workers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand.

They are ethical, law-abiding citizens who perform their everyday task with a mindset to make ours a better place, a better society.

Their objectives mean they have tough tasks at hands. It is no walking in the park for them. When they take up a project, when they enter the market, once the work mode is activated, they want a trophy and a result.

They want neither fame nor popularity. They hone their skills from time and time to achieve their goals, because it is the outcome that defines their professional roles.

When the consumers have a relatively ‘clean’ market where counterfeit goods and fraud cases are busted effectively, that’s the achievement of these unsung heroes.
